Some things about me...
Hi there! I'm Romina, an enthusiastic Interior Design Graduate as well as recently graduating with a Post Graduate Diploma in Graphic Design from Falmouth Univesity.
Motivated by the desire to create beautiful things which solve real life problems, I am inspired by the notion of community and people. I have a love of photography and I particularly like projects which give me the opportunity to bridge my graphic and interior design interests. I strongly believe that design has a huge part to play in improving the mental health and well-being of individuals and whole communities - something I hope to be able to build on throughout my future career working on projects which puts human experience at its centre whilst crafting incredible stories.
Originally from Bristol, living in Falmouth has given me the breathing space to nurture my creativity. I often find myself inspired by the power in the landscape, or the smell of salt in the air. It is often in these moments when I am away from a project that I find myself discovering the most creative solutions to design problems. I can usually be found on a long country walk, or sat in a beach side cafe with coffee and a cake!
My final year Interior Design project was awarded the IE Velocity National Studio Project Award and I was asked back the following year to be on the Judging panel for the IE Awards 2021 Interior Futures category.
